Ready for the real thing.....

First Collection for Stylisme GM

It has been a while since my last post here...have been soooo busy lately in my Fashion Design quest.  Finished all necessary courses for the whole program. Been reading about so many things like doing business in fashion, couture sewing, couture designs and so many others and there are so many things to learn and experience . I really have my hands full this time hehehe....although, I am really really enjoying this journey.

So far, my niece and myself are really busy creating our first collection for our photoshoot. This will be for the formal launch of our House of Stylisme GM tentatively in July or August of this year. Hopefully, we'll be done on schedule. Here's a glimpse of my new creations, still in progress.

Still working on the embellishments and accessories to go with this very simple one-piece lavender serpentina gown made of chiffon. Hemline finished with narrow-rolled edge to give a neat and wavy hem.

Tried to add a simple sash made of the same fabric but I thought an embellished half-bodice attached to a belt will be better on this. Soon to come....

This is a black and white lace done in simple one-piece gown. Still thinking about adding some sequins or beads on the black floral design....

This is a red stretch-taffeta gown. The fabric did not exactly go with the shape of the bodice. Will try magic on this one.....

This is the whole-body shot of the gown. I want to enhance the shape of the garment by putting a black cut-out at both waistline front and back sides.
     Till my next post.....
